Qmunity – BC’s Queer Resource Centre
QMUNITY improves queer and trans lives through services, connection and leadership. We offer: information and referrals; diversity training and consulting services; all ages events and drop-in programming; counselling and social support groups; volunteer and practicum opportunities; community meeting space.
Also home to the Bute Street Clinic (run by BCCDC), which offers free and anonymous STI/HIV testing for the LGBTQQS community; Staffed opening hours 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, after hours bookings upon request.
Rainbow Refugee Vancouver
Founded in 2000, Rainbow Refugee Committee (RRC) is a Vancouver based community group that supports people seeking refugee protection because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status. Rainbow Refugee Committee engages in outreach and public education on QLGBT/HIV+ refugee issues. RRC is member driven and all volunteer. http://www.rainbowrefugee.ca/

Archives of Lesbian Oral Testimony alotarchives.org - The Archives of Lesbian Oral Testimony was founded in 2010. The archives and the web site is supported by and operates out of Simon Fraser University Library's Special Collections and Rare Books. Queer-sum a “Chinglish” translation and play on the words Queer Love, alludes to queer attraction that people experience, even though they believe themselves to be straight identified – or queer-sum (sum=heart=love). QueerSUM心 presents three of Karin Lee’s media works: a 2-channel remix of her classic 16mm film My Sweet Peony Remix, a fantastical drama shot in the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Gardens; Portrait of a Girl, a documentary shot in Beijing; and Small Pleasures, a period drama set in Barkerville BC.
