Cross & Crows Books Presents A SPECIAL PRIDE READING with GUY BABINEAU
In celebration of Vancouver Pride, award-winning local author Guy Babineau reads from his dazzling short story collection Channel Surfing in the Sea of Happiness at Cross & Crows Books at 7pm on Wednesday, July 31. There will be a signing afterwards.

Babineau has published extensively with Pink Triangle Press (Xtra West, Xtra, Capital Xtra, Xtra.ca, The Body Politic), The Georgia Straight, The Vancouver Sun, Vancouver Magazine, The National Post, and elsewhere. He’s well-known for his former Mannequin fashion column in the Straight. His articles about AIDS and queer history have been cited internationally. In 2022, he received a Vancouver Fashion Week Award for Journalism. He is the recipient of a Vancouver 2SLGBTQ+ community Hero Award for Writing.
