“Blouse” Release Party
CANADA’S ORIGINAL GAY POP STAR RETURNS: PETER BREEZE DROPS
NEW SINGLE “BLOUSE” FEATURING GOLDEN PHANTASY
Vancouver, BC – June 27, 2025 – After more than a decade away from the spotlight, Peter Breeze—the original wild child of Canadian queer pop—is making his long-awaited comeback. His new single “Blouse”, an unapologetic and outrageous celebration of femme energy and underground glamour, drops July 11, 2025 and reintroduces Breeze as the chaotic, campy icon we desperately need in today’s sanitised pop landscape.
Best known for queer anthems like “FuckTalk,” “Taxi,” and “X Rated Angel,” from his debut album Send In The Robots, Breeze built his legacy on glitter, grit, and zero shame—touring gay bars across North America and becoming a cult figure long before queer pop went mainstream.
He opened for mainstream pop acts like Aaron Carter and Bif Naked, and was celebrated by original NYC ClubKid James St James on World Of Wonder, who declared: Peter Breeze is the biggest star Canada has ever produced.
To celebrate his comeback, Peter has secured a spot opening for Reality and PopStar Heide Montag at Celebrities on August 2. With “Blouse,” he’s returning to his roots: fearless, fabulous, and as unfiltered as ever.
Teaming up with the enigmatic producer GOLDEN PHANTASY, Breeze delivers a track that hits like a strobe light to the soul. GOLDEN PHANTASY is an electronic music project with one mission: to transport you to a Wednesday night at a struggling gay bar circa 2009. Imagine a white go-go boot stamping on a human face—forever. This is music for those who understand that beyond twink death lies the eternal reward of Costco executive membership. Choose ataraxia. Choose Epicureanism. Choose GOLDEN PHANTASY.
“I may have stepped away, but I never stopped being her,” says Breeze. “This new era is about owning the past, rejecting the rules, and reminding people that queer pop started in the club—not on TikTok.”
The release party goes down July 10 at 1181 in Vancouver, where fans will get a first look at the music video and a chance to dance with the legends who helped shape this comeback moment. Come for the drama, stay for the sequins.
