Eastside Community Pride BBQ & Picnic
Come together to celebrate 20 years since the passing of the legalization of same-sex marriage in Canada. Reflect on the 56 years of activism since the 1969 Stonewall riots and the birth of a global movement.
Legacy of pride is partnering up with Saige to create an East Van Community Pride BBQ and Picnic, Saturday June 28th, 11:00am-2:00pm.
Saige will be running the BBQ - $5 suggested donation will get you a Freybe Gourmet Foods hotdog or a veggie dog, plus a snack and drink of your choice. By keeping this meal the same price for the last 5 years, we strive to include all community members.
This event will be very grassroots, family friendly and an opportunity to connect with community.
