Public Disco: Expanded 2025 Free and Ticketed Vancouver Summer Block Parties
Public Disco is excited to announce four 2025 Summer Block Parties presented by 2 Hoots Hard Iced Tea. This year’s series will feature two free, all-ages block parties–including an expansion of the Public Disco Block Party on Granville Island to two days–plus two 19+ ticketed outdoor music events featuring headliners Soul Clap, Ash Lauryn and Jason Kendig. Known for creating safe and welcoming atmospheres, Public Disco events transform unconventional urban spaces in Vancouver into vibrant event venues. The events showcase a diverse lineup of local and international DJs, are fully licensed, and offer a unique experience where music, community, and the urban environment collide.
“We are thrilled to announce Public Disco’s 2025 Summer Block Parties, which will transform Vancouver’s urban spaces into vibrant hubs of music and connection,” says Nickolas Collinet, Executive Director of Public Disco Society. “This year’s events showcase a variety of dance music genres, including disco, house, groovy techno, garage, salsa, Latin tech and more, plus a special all-vinyl day, and much-anticipated headliner sets from Soul Clap, Ash Lauryn, and Jason Kendig. By producing free and low-barrier ticketed events, we invite more people to engage with dance music, whether they’re deeply embedded in the scene or discovering it for the first time.”
