LavendHer Presents: The Queer Cabaret!
“The Queer Cabaret” is a monthly comedy/variety show featuring Queer performers hosted on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.

When: MONTHLY – Every Third Tuesday, starting September 19th 2023
7pm Doors, 7:30pm – 9pm Show
Running time: 90 minutes; Comedy/Variety; Mature Themes.
Each show will include Burlesque, Drag, Puppetry and/or Music as well as local and touring comics. This event is welcoming to all identities, with a focus/celebration of queer/lesbian identifying women and non-gender conforming folks.

Alison Ward (they/she) is a local creator/producer/performer of independent film and theatre with a specific interest in LGBTQIA+ and women’s stories. They created the plays "Hungry Woman’s Breakfast", "1/4 Life Crisis" and "No Gold Star" and performed and produced each in various cities.
Alison is also the creator/coproducer of the films “It’s Not About Kate” (HerStory Cinephelia Society Festival Nashville, Mesa International Film Festival) and “Writing Kim” (QFlix Philadelphia, L.I.M.P.A. Finalist) currently streaming on Tubi TV and other platforms on Demand.
