Screening of Pride vs. Prejudice: The Delwin Vriend Story

One voice can spark a movement.

Join us during Pride Week in Richmond for a special screening of Pride vs. Prejudice: The Delwin Vriend Story— the award-winning documentary directed by Darrin Hagen that tells the true story of one man’s fight for equality and the landmark Supreme Court decision that changed Canada forever.

This screening celebrates the resilience and contributions of our local 2SLGBTQI+ community and creates space for meaningful conversations about justice and inclusion.

Presented by Edmonton Community Foundation and the Edmonton Queer History Project, in partnership with the Richmond Community Foundation and City of Richmond.
