Man Up: Funhouse
It wouldn’t be Halloween without a two-room party by Man Up! My favourite Man Up of the year, when their devilish drag cast transforms into genderbent beasts ready to blow your brains, and then eat them! Terrible trickery is on the horizon, when the light goes to sleep, and the darkness rises, your eyes will deceive you! fear will seize you! And your wildest nightmares will all come true. With performances by too many to mention here, the night will be spooktacular.
9pm—2am. The Warehouse, 550 Malkin Ave. Tickets $20 and info at Man Up
Backdoor
Hosted by Berlin it is just a given the event would be called Backdoor and for Halloween I am sure there are pumpkins carved up like Trump coloured dimly lit buttholes all around the place. Get sucky sucky for Vancouver's original queer warehouse party. Join them at their flagship, VAL at the Lab, for one last night of vampiric love-making. With new art installations and spaces that will keep you gagging all night long!

This is the place to be on Monday nights; come on a drag journey far away from your Monday blues. Performances by your hosts, your favourite clown in a gown: Misty H Meadows-Gurl as well as the most talented singer this side of Squamish, Amy Grindhouse. Backbone
From the company that brought 2015’s hit A Simple Space, Backbone (literally) tosses around the perception of what strength is, where it comes from, and how it is measured. This international circus hit is a frenetic celebration of human interconnectedness that tests the limits of strength: physical, emotional, individual, and collective. “Circus, as you’ve never seen it before…so intensely beautiful it makes you proud to be human”—InDaily. Hosted by The Cultch show runs for six nights until Sunday, Nov 4.

You are going to need both hands to grab that tootsie roll. All for a good cause as 100% of proceeds Friends For Life. JACKED
After three years of WET & Wild it is time for a change. Its time for some new meat and adding Alma Bitches, the Queen of Dicks, can only mean one thing. That new meat is going to be found in the audience. Pumpjack and Steamworks bring you the Thirsty Trio: Del Stamp, Nick Bertossi and Alma Bitches. The floor is open, bring on the amateurs and let’s have some fun. Play your cards right and you might get lucky: what beats a full house? The Thirsty Trio of course, they beat anything.

TOM COLEMAN
New job, new great site but same old me. I will try to continue to keep you updated, entertained and hopefully not tell too many secrets about any of you. I attempt to cover the top dozen, or couple of dozen, events that not only interest me but a wide variety of others.
Please feel free to send me any listings you would like posted but they must be LGBTQ themed, whether it is a meeting, art show, event party, seminar, restaurant opening or anything else you think you would like to see my cheery self attend. tomsnewlistings@outlook.com TOM
