The Tragic Comedy of MacBeth –Smashing together comedy, improv, and the great words of the Bard, The Tragic Comedy of Macbeth promises an entertaining evening for comedy and Shakespeare fans alike. This mighty endeavour is overseen by two directors, the legendary Bernard Cuffling (Bard on the Beach) handling the classic text while the equally iconic Gary Jones (Vancouver Theatre Sports League) will direct the improvisation. Carnival Band Fundraiser – while not technically a queer organization, the Carnival Band is an east Van institution with queer members. This fundraiser dance party will have a silent auction, a 50-50 draw, and lots of great local music to shake your Carnie feathers to. The Carnival Band will of course be making an appearance. November 30th at Grandview Legion on Commercial Drive.

Vancouver Men's Chorus – Canada's very first Gay Chorus will be performing in Victoria on November 16th and in Vancouver on December 7-14th with a special holiday Making Spirits Bright concert. They say – "Whether you celebrate the Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas, or Kwanzaa, each holiday adds a different hue to our diverse culture, so join the Vancouver Men’s Chorus as we celebrate the Colours of Christmas and let us add some sparkle to your winter!" 26th Annual Women's Faire – high quality and quirky women-made crafts, food and more for sale at the Women's Craft Faire. I almost always run into people I know at this lush and busy well organized two-day faire held at Heritage Hall on 3102 Main Street Saturday, December 21st and Sunday, December 22nd, 11 am to 5 pm.
