Monthly Queer Grief Circle

Grief can be especially complex for LGBTQIA2S+ people, who may not always find understanding or safety in traditional spaces of mourning. This monthly online Grief Circle offers a supportive and affirming environment for queer and trans individuals to come together after experiencing a death loss. Facilitated by Eliezer Moreno (he/him), a Queer Grief & Loss Counsellor and Registered Social Worker, the group is a place to reflect, share, and hold space for healing in community.

This Monthly Queer Grief Circle is a space for LGBTQIA2S+ folks to talk, process, reflect, grieve and support one another after experiencing a death loss. There is no cost to the group but we encourage you to spread the word and invite other queer grievers to join. Registration required.

Date: The 4th Wednesday of the month starting June 2025

Time: 7pm-8pm

Location: Online. The Google Meet link will be emailed to you after completing the form.

Facilitator: Eliezer Moreno (he/him) - Queer Grief & Loss Counsellor and Registered Social Worker

Contact: eliezer@meaningfulcounselling.ca

Every meeting we will go over the Grief Circle Guidelines, practice a grounding exercise, then open up for sharing. This meeting will not be recorded and verbal participation is voluntary.
