ABOUT US:

The Tantalus Drag Collective is a group of emerging queer drag artists who have a passion for sharing their art with the local community. Most of the performers started their drag career with The Quest Drag Show, which was one of the largest celebrations of queer culture and art in Squamish. After the closure of Quest, the performers created the Tantalus Drag Collective to continue to bring the magic of drag to Squamish.

With the goal of engaging with local communities, their shows are designed to be a safe space for performers and audience members alike to explore and celebrate the expression of sexuality and gender.

Each member of the collective brings their own individual style of drag to their performances, creating unique shows you are unlikely to find anywhere else. Whether it be comedy, lip syncing, or dancing, Tantalus Drag Shows are sure to keep you entertained with a wide variety of talent and passion.

The Performers:

Eileen Dover DeGrave

Straight out of Westwinds, Eileen Dover DeGrave is your favorite dancing granny with a dirty martini and a dirtier mind. She’s here to make you laugh, shake her double replaced hips, and maybe even charm your younger partner while she’s at it. A proud cat lady, werthers candy lover, and disco queen, Eileen’s still got it—and her pace maker will not let her slow down anytime soon.

Kyle Wylie

Inspired by your dad’s favourite radio station, Kyle Wiley is a cheeky mix of classic rock swagger and rural flair. He’s a heartbreaker in a Canadian tuxedo…and no one is safe from his charms. When he’s not onstage, you can find Kyle at the demolition derby, not fixin what ain’t broke, or floating down the river in an inner tube, blasting Dolly Parton with a beer in each hand. Whether it’s pickup lines or pickup trucks, Kyle Wiley is there to get the job done to your satisfaction!

Dick Dynasty

Straight outta the frostbitten backwoods and into your fantasies, Dick Dynasty is the rugged heartthrob you didn’t know you needed. Hailing from a small northern town where flannel is formalwear and masculinity is colder than a January morning, Dick brings blue-collar bravado with a wink and a strut. He’s the ultimate lumbersexual legend- whether he's grinding gears on stage or seducing the spotlight with a country-rock swagger, Dick Dynasty redefines what it means to be a king. Sharp jaw, sharper moves, and a mustache that could chop wood—this king’s got it all.he’s out to prove that small towns can breed big personalities—and even bigger… dynasties.

MacGayver

MacGayver - like MacGyver, but gayer, glitterier and with a lot more duct tape! By day, a part-time super secret agent (shhh, don’t blow their cover); by night, a glitter-slicked renegade with danger in their eyes and rhinestone facial hair. They can turn a roll of duct tape, a stick of gum and a glitter nugget into haute couture — as well as defuse a bomb while serving. With outfits louder than a disco in a thunderstorm and a track record that screams queer excellence, MacGayver isn’t just here to save the day — they’re here to slay the stage and leave a trail of sparkle in their wake.
