Chicha Drag Bingo

Mina Mercury and a special guest drag queen each week will host Drag Show Bingo. There will be two sets of two games of bingo with lots of entertainment and numbers before and between bingo sets. There will be lots of prizes, outfits, numbers, fun, drinks and food specials. So come out for a good cause, a lot of fun, and of course the most amazing outfits!

8pm. Chicha Restaurant, 136 East Broadway St. Each set of bingo is $10, and proceeds go towards Foundation of Hope Charity; a LGBTQ charity that funds not-for profit LGBTQ refugee organizations. Chicha Drag Bingo

Unleash your inner diva at Chicha's Serving Up Sass Saturday Drag Brunch. Every week bringing Canada's most talented drag queens to perform incredible drag routines, to dish some sass as you enjoy Executive Chef Shelome Bouvette's delicious Peruvian inspired brunch and sipping on bottomless mimosas!

Hi Five: Queer Dance Party

Crumpet A Queer Tea Dance 

Enjoy Crumpet’s Sunday Services. Eat, drink, dance ...and get to bed by 10:00pm, get your 8 hours sleep, and
start the week fresh and happy. BIPOC Queers and LGBTQ2SIA+ people come experience the phenomenon of the Sunday afternoon Tea Dance. Let’s connect the way we used to do it, when we enjoyed face-to-face interactions and sweaty moments swaying to body rocking beats. Come ready to serve it up in whatever way you please.

Condom Packaging Party in New West

Well Pride is officially over and supplies have certainly been diminished which is a good thing but now it is time to help replenish stock. Join HIM to help stuff, cram, and pack condoms and lube into tight little packages. Light snacks provided! Held alongside the Rainbow Event Network and the Sunday Afternoon Beer Bash And Condom Packaging!

Closing Gala Party

 Come close the VQFF 2019 Festival after their Closing Gala film and celebrate the extraordinary time we’ve had together. Performances from some of the city’s best drag artists and gender benders, bumpin’ beats from awesome DJs and party on a sweaty dance floor. Entry is free with VQFF membership, which will also be sold at the door.

Connections

Want to expand your social network and connect with other gay, bi, queer men, in Abbotsford? Connections is a group for guys 19+ to come together to talk about life experiences, connect with peers and build a circle of support. Come as you are, bring a friend, and your ideas. Topics and activities are decided amongst the group participants. This group is open to people who identify as men (trans, cis, and other men, and inclusive of two-spirit and non-binary folks) who also identify as gay, bi, queer, asexual, curious, and/or as guys who are into/or have sex with guys (for any reason – including for work). You are welcome whether you are ‘out’ or not.

Transprov - QueerProv Workshops

Calling all trans, non-binary, Transprov is a monthly improv workshop specifically for trans, non-binary, and two-spirit individuals. The workshop is hosted by Charlie Cook (they/them), a non-binary QueerProv improviser, and is open to all skill levels from beginner to experienced performer. and two-spirit folks, come play with QueerProv at our new monthly improv workshop series: Transprov!

Out At The Fair At The PNE

Join every other gay in the village as they all head to the PNE for Out At The Fair featuring Drag performances by Tuck Entertainment Inc. , PNE Summer Night Concert - "I love the 90s tour" featuring Vanilla Ice, Montell Jordan, Biz Markie, Rob Base, Information booth hosted by Vancouver Pride Society with LGBTQAI2S+ Trivia and a button maker so you can make your own Pride buttons and all the rides you can handle. Purchase a pair of our limited edition PNE Pride Socks for $15, wear them to the fair, and receive free admission with your socks.

Man Up Karaoke : The Last Clubhouse Patio Party

We danced, we splashed, we celebrated Pride! Now we're full up with gay gratitude, but physically and emotionally TIRED AF! SooOo we're returning to our annual tradition of an August Man Up that is CHEAPER, more LAID BACK, and a lil' bit DIFFERENT!

Billy Idol

Yes, even though I saw him when I was 16 the Idol is still alive and kicking. Billy Idol, together with his band featuring Steve Stevens, have been touring heavily during the past five years, headlining theatres and arenas and performing at major festivals all over the world. Idol returned to the spotlight in the fall of 2014 with two high profile releases that marked the latest chapter in the long and remarkable story of a musician, an inventor, a survivor, a father, a son, a man who returned from the brink, and a rebel whose yells made the mainstream sit up and pay attention.

Boylesque T.O. Presents Oh Manada!

Boylesque T.O., Canada’s premiere all-male burlesque troupe, will perform its signature show OH MANADA with special guests Shirley Gnome and April O'Peel! In this cheeky (pun intended) cabaret revue that has been thrilling North American audiences since 2010, the boys of BoylesqueTO will strip down all of your favorite Canadian icons, and then slather them up (and down) with maple syrup for your viewing pleasure.

RUFF Labour Day

Music by Nick Bertossi (YVR) & Matt Stands (SEA), along with Gogo Performances by: Tim Mr. RUFF 2019 & The Men of RUFF this night promises to be the highlight of the long weekend. And of course it wouldn’t be a RUFF party with out RUFF Play afterwards at Steamworks, they even have a shuttle for you running from 12:30—2:30am so you won’t miss a beat.

Babes On Babes

As a community they have created something beautiful. Babes is a place to nurture new talent and to inspire new connections. They are proud to witness and be a part of showcasing local and international Queer artists on their journey. Vancouver's Queer scene continues to expand in every direction and that calls for a celebration. To kick off their 3rd year, super babe and performance artist AUTOKRAT is set to take the Babes stage.

AIDS Walk

This year the WALK returns to the West End and Sunset Beach, where many of their members reside. The site will be set up to welcome you and your friends and family to gather before you enjoy the WALK. Join us in empowering people living with HIV and the ones who love and care for them and memorialize those we lost too soon. Please register for the walk or donate whatever you can. Volunteers are always needed as well.
