Pride Week Richmond (Jul 28-Aug 3)
Pride Week in Richmond is a celebration of members of the Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and gender diverse (2SLGBTQI+) communities in our city. Starting on the last Monday of July annually, Pride Week features inclusive events and interactive activities with local leaders, artists, performers and community members. The City of Richmond presents events in partnership with Community Associations and Societies, as well as the Richmond Public Library.
The theme for this year’s Pride Week in Richmond is 'Pride Lives Here,' anchoring Pride in the Richmond community and affirming that 2SLGBTQI+ individuals belong here. It highlights and celebrates the presence of 2SLGBTQI+ communities and allies, while creating space for programming that raises awareness and promotes inclusion.
