2025 INFORMATION AND DETAILS - See Vancouver Pride Society website for the latest. VPS Instagram seems to be more current. instagram.com/vancouverpride/
From the VPS Board, July 9 - The 2025 Vancouver Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, August 3, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Pacific Boulevard, just past Griffiths Way. The parade will travel west along Pacific Boulevard and flow directly into the Davie Village Pride Festival, which begins at 2:00 p.m. in Vancouver’s historic West End. With more than 150 parade entries and a full festival program already in motion, this year’s Pride celebrations mark a critical moment of transition for the organization and the communities it serves.

The Vancouver Pride Parade with over 100,000 attendees is back on Pride Weekend. Led by our Host Nations, join in with local community groups, non-profit organizations, businesses and more all showcasing their support for the 2SLGBTQAI+ communities.
With 4 accessible viewing zones available, witness our community taking the streets of the city as colorful floats, lively marching bands and community partner groups transform Vancouver into a beautiful display of love, music and art.
Same route, new direction! 🌈
This year, the Pride Parade is heading west, starting just past Griffiths Way and moving down Pacific Blvd straight into the heart of the Davie Village and the site of Vancouver’s first Pride Festival: Nelson Park!
✨ Best viewing? Anywhere along Pacific Blvd between Griffiths Way and Howe St.

THE FUN
OK so those are the details and here’s the fun.
Dress up! Feel free to let your flag fly - there’s no other time of the year when you can be everything you want to be.
Carry Water. It will be very very hot if the sun is out. 90% of the parades I’ve attended over the past decade have been very sunny and very hot. Wear a hat, put on sunscreen before you leave the house (no, sunscreen is not bad for you, it will save your skin from numerous surgeries in your 60s trust me)
Join in. If you’re mobile, and you see someone you know in the parade, jump in and walk along for a bit. It’s an exhilarating experience!
Leave your puppers at home. The crowds, the noise, the heat will all be unpleasant for your furbaby. There’s nothing fun about a massive parade for dogs (or cats).
THE MAGAZINE
Each year the Vancouver Pride Society puts out fun magazine - the ad prices have always been far to rich for our capacity but it’s still a fun read. Link will be here when the magazine is available.
