Guncle D’s Tight T Episode 1- Monochrome

Guncle D’s Tight Tea: The Inaugural Pour - A monochrome moment on the water

We gratefully acknowledge that this event takes place on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. With respect and joy, we gather on these lands to launch a new tradition of queer connection, celebration, and community.

Welcome to the very first edition of Uncle D’s Tight Tea — a roving monthly T-Dance series, starting in style at the beautiful Harbour Room of the Vancouver Rowing Club in Coal Harbour. It’s stunning inside and out, with a massive deck overlooking the marina.

This is a monochrome attire affair. Pick your hue. The full rainbow is welcome, but only one colour per body. What colour of the rainbow will you be?

Expect:

  • Carlotta as your glamorous and unpredictable host

  • Shirtless oyster shuckers from Harbour Oyster Bar

  • A shirtless beer boy (yes, that one from 1181) pouring cold ones for cash

  • DJvanstone spinning a breezy, chill-but-upbeat soundtrack to keep the energy flowing - more cocktail sway than warehouse rave

Arrive before 2:30 p.m. to claim your complimentary welcome drink.

Come dressed. Come pressed. Come monochromatic.
