Blue Buck and Red Racer are proud to present: LOLGBTQ! 2 – A queer comedy show in support of Rainbow Refugee. This round is hosted by the hilarious and effervescent Oli Maughan, and has an amazing line-up of comics who represent all sorts of sexual identities and gender expressions – and most importantly are funny as fuuuuuuuck! This show will fill your heart with joy just in time for Valentine's Day to kick you in the tits. Best of all is Steev Letts and a gaggle of comedians to keep you on the floor all night.

I could say that every day at Matt Troy’s backdoor is Valentine`s Day but would that make me sound needy? Goodbyes are never easy, especially on Valentine's Day. It's been a love-affair like no other, but it’s time for our Last Kiss. They are saying goodbye to their 4th beloved warehouse in 4 years. This journey has been a relationship that has had so many highlights. From starting raves at obscure locations, doggy daycares, and art centres, boat building factories, and even sheds, they have been through it. They have seen the tops of artistic achievement in nightlife but it has not been without challenge. And today, they let that all go. This is our Last Kiss. Last Backdoor at the VAL Lab.

Babes On Babes
Babe’s kick off the 2019 Babes on Babes series with a Bands edition, featuring Land Line and Strange Breed, two of Vancouver’s up and coming Queer groups, topped off with a 2room + 6 DJ dance party. Land Line has broadened their influences and evolved from Garage/Grunge rock to a more refined and polished New Wave 5th generation Post Punk sound. Strange Breed are a 4 piece, all queer, all female garage rock band. Sounding like every 90’s riot grrrl fans’ feminist wet dream with an unexpected modern rock twist – Strange Breed has been described as a “Grittier B52’s”, or what collaboration between Veruca Salt, Paramore, Bikini Kill and Hole would sound like.

Caliente Nights Ms & Mr Gay Latino BC
I am sure since all the men of Vancouver are back from Beef Dip they must be craving a little heat already. Miss Gay Latina BC Contestants will model their swim suit and evening gowns plus answer a random question from the judges. Mr. Gay Latino BC Contestants will model their swim suit and evening wear plus answer a random question from the audience, votes will be added in public and the winner will be crowned. The crown winners will obtain a $500 cash price and the title of Mr. and Miss Gay Latina BC 2019 plus the chance to sit on the throne part of the Vancouver Latin Community Float at the Vancouver Pride Parade 2019.
