One of my favourite transits of the year, the Sun in Cancer brings an energy charge unlike any other sign of the Zodiac. The Keepers of Time, Cancer placements remember everything and chronicle all.

Signifying not only the continued fall of Rome (what’s done is done), but a total upheaval of what it means to function in our ‘modern’ society, the Saturn-Uranus square will keep tensions high and demand change - on one level or another. Make note of this transit.

With six (6) planets currently in the sign of Aquarius, there is a clear and tremendous push for change on all fronts and all people. But what is in store for those born in ‘97 who are experiencing their first Jupiter Return in adulthood?

Perhaps like some of you, I had heard all of the old adages about how cold Aquarius energy is: how utterly repulsed by emotion they were, their adamant refusal to portray emotional ‘weakness’ of any kind - certainly in regards to love with all its potential of heartbreak.

It is no secret (and certainly not news) to queer and feminist spaces that the gender binary is pervasive in every aspect of our lives, but it would seem that attempts to alter that within spiritual circles is something of a Pandora’s box: the depth of reverie and blind adherence to centering gender and gendered language within mystic spaces is astounding... and often far more insidious than one would think could exist within a sacred space.

About halfway through the month, we will see these planets ingress Aquarius, which will then form a conjunction with Saturn and Jupiter. With this, we herald in the long and anxiously-awaited Age of Aquarius, wherein Earth is under new rulership, for the next 2000 years.

The cusp of our 7th. The Great Other. These are the people sent on our path to hold up a mirror and bear witness as we see ourselves for what we truly are: the good, the bad, and the ugly.
